I’m thrilled to announce the launch of my new eCourse, EMDR for Kids and Teens, going live on October 1, 2024, on Psychwire. This course is a culmination of my passion and years of work in helping children and adolescents heal from trauma through EMDR therapy.
As a therapist, you know how important it is to reach our youngest clients in ways that feel safe and developmentally appropriate. In this six-week course, I’ll walk you through how to integrate the 8 Phases of EMDR therapy into your practice with children and teens, ages 0 to 18. Drawing from over 40 years of experience, I’ll share how to use play, art, and expressive therapies to make the EMDR process more accessible and impactful for young minds.
Through engaging video demonstrations, you’ll see practical, creative applications of EMDR therapy in action, and learn strategies to address trauma, abuse, neglect, and other complex issues that children and teens face today. I’ll also guide you in understanding how kids communicate during reprocessing and how to adapt when the process gets stuck.
